ホルテン監督の映画 JUAN！！

以前予告した映画情報の続報です。ホルテンが製作した映画JUANの情報が明らかになってきました。まずエージェントのサイトの記載が新しくなってました。なんと英語で歌われ、ブタペストで撮影されたそうです。国際公開はこれからですね。日本には来ないかなあ。デンマーク行ったときに映画館で観れないかなあ。英語ならどこで観てもいいもんね。

He has directed a contemporary and ground-breaking motion picture JUAN based on Mozart's Don Giovanni but sung in a modern English translation and filmed on location in Budapest. The movie is to be released internationally in 2010/11.

この映画は、いま開催中の釜山国際映画祭（Flash Forward＝新人監督部門）に出ている模様です。映画祭用の解説読むに、やっぱりこれはオペラ映画を狙ったものじゃない雰囲気です。元々ホルテンだから違うだろうと思ってましたが、映画祭の選択も完全にそんな感じです。コンテンポラリー狙いですよね。アジア映画好きなんかなあ、ホルテン。

"STILL CUT"をクリックすると、少ないながら写真が見れます。それにしても、何故君はそんなにハゲが好きなのかね？マスカレード(2004)なんて、ハゲ（かけ）のオンパレードに妙なリアリティがあるという、そんな画面だったもんなあ。

A Danish musical based on Mozart's famous opera buffa [Don Giovanni]. Juan is a successful artist and an infamous playboy. He is full of charisma and sexual charm, and never fails to get the woman he wants, only to dump her in the end. His friend Leporello acts as his henchman helping in his escapades.
The movie takes place in Copenhagen, and follows the two men for 24 hours, at times cheerfull, and sometimes tragic. The beautiful flow of the movie, the dramatic narrative, the beautiful images and sound – in all aspects, the movie makes it hard to believe that it is a debut film.
Unlike any common musical, the film expresses even the dialogue with musical melody, making it that much more exiting. In contrast with the suggestive content, the expressiveness of the movie is quite sensuous and at the same time moderately discreet. The familiar music by Mozart adds fun to the film. (JEON Chanil)

オペラファンはターゲット外と思いきや、ラストにあの人（写真参照）も出てくるそうで、見逃せませんよ。他にも色々あるのですが、ネタバレは止めて公開を待ちましょう。
